"Stand out without being exuberant!"

Delft Watch Works
A watch is more than an instrument for measuring time. It is the piece of jewelry through which a man distinguishes himself and expresses his sense of style and craftsmanship.
With classic proportions, carefully refined details, and a proven Swiss automatic movement, the Oostpoort stands for understated sophistication. Every element has been designed with attention to balance, calm, and durability, not to impress at first glance, but to convince with every look. Subtly present, without fading away. Distinctive, without being extravagant.
The Oostpoort is made for the enthusiast who values timeless design, mechanical perfection, and a watch that adapts effortlessly to any occasion.
Designed, developed, and hand assembled in Delft.
Oostpoort - east gate
Our first model, the Oostpoort, is named after one of the most iconic landmarks of Delft. The centuries old city gate, with its two distinctive spires, forms both the name and the foundation of this watch. These towers have been translated into the Delft Watch Works logo, a recognizable and meaningful symbol.
The Oostpoort represents transition and continuity, the moment when past and future meet. For centuries, the gate marked the boundary between the city and the outside world. Today, it symbolizes carrying tradition forward while keeping a determined focus on the future. This layered meaning has been deliberately reflected in the design, classical in proportion and contemporary in execution.
As the first watch of Delft Watch Works, the Oostpoort embodies our vision, an uncompromising focus on design, engineering, and manufacturability. A timeless object, rooted in Delft and created to transcend generations.

Timeless design
The case of the Oostpoort has been designed with a keen eye for aesthetics. All elements flow organically into one another, forming a dynamic whole, both visually and to the touch.
Thoughtful details, such as the recessed polished surface between the bezel and the case band, are not only aesthetic but also functional, as they help limit visible signs of wear during servicing.
The contrast between hand polished surfaces, brushed details, and CNC milled recesses in the case band creates a refined, sporty, and contemporary character.
Dial and hands
The dial has been designed with great care and constructed in multiple layers. The pronounced, brushed, and rhodium plated outer ring features extra tall hour markers, creating optical depth and excellent legibility.
The high gloss polished markers are richly faceted and capture the light from every angle. The openworked hands extend precisely to the point where the markers transition from flat to beveled, a subtle balance between form and function.

Movement
At the heart of the Oostpoort beats a proven Swiss automatic movement, selected for reliability, precision, and durability. The mechanical movement forms the essence of the watch, an interplay of spring, gears, and balance that functions entirely without electronics.
The automatic winding system harnesses the natural motion of the wearer, allowing the watch to maintain its power while being worn. This makes the Oostpoort a living mechanism, designed for daily use and built to function for generations with proper maintenance.
The movement is carefully cased and regulated to deliver consistent performance, in line with the understated character of the design. No visible complexity for the sake of complexity, but proven engineering that guarantees calm, confidence, and long term reliability.
